Our open days for Nursery and Reception 2020 were held in the autumn term. If you wish to visit the school at another time, please call the school office to book in a visit.

 

Apply for Reception places by 15th January 2020

Reception Admissions

We hope you could attend our open days in the autumn term where you had the chance to have a tour of the school and a talk by senior leaders.

The local authority's guide, Choose a Wandsworth Primary School, gives information about our admissions and priority area.

Everyone must apply online for a Reception place by 15th January 2020 at www.eadmissions.org.uk or by following the link on the Wandsworth website www.wandsworth.gov.uk/admissions

Please note that children with a place in our Nursery do not automatically have a place for Reception and must apply in the same way.

Apply for a Nursery place by 8th February 2020

Nursery Admissions

Please come along to our open days in the autumn term to see our Nursery provision. We have recently made changes to our Nursery Admissions which can be found in our admissions policy.

To apply for a Nursery place, please request an application form from our school office, or download here. The deadline for applications for a September 2020 start is 8th February 2020. Please bring along proof of address and a passport/birth certificate when giving in your application.

Years 1 to 6  Admissions

Parents/carers who wish to apply for a place in Penwortham for Years 1 to 6 will need to complete the admissions application form obtainable from their local authority.

Penwortham’s local authority is Wandsworth and the majority of our pupils live within the Wandsworth Borough. The application will need to be returned to the local authority and they will send you a notification of whether or not a place can be offered.

Apply for a secondary school place

If your child is in year 6 at primary school, you can apply for a secondary school place for entry in September 2020 from Sunday 1 September 2019.

Your application must be received by 31 October 2019.

Starting School in Wandsworth

Parents must apply for a place in any state school in any Borough through their home council. Wandsworth Council provides a full-time place in a primary school Reception Class in the September of the school year in which their children reach their 5th birthday.

 

It is important to collect as much information as possible about the schools you want to apply for and the admission procedures.
